Movin’ On Up For NYS Pols? Voters Say … It Depends
New York State’s registered voters divide over whether they would like to see Rudy Giuliani run for president in 2008. 49% of voters want to see him make the run, fueled by 67% of Republicans. 46% of the state’s voters, including many Democrats, would prefer he does not. 40% of New York State’s registered voters want Senator Hillary Clinton to run for president, although a majority, including 72% of Republicans and 57% of Independents, would prefer she not seek higher office. Only 17% of registered voters want Governor Pataki to run for the presidency in 2008.
