Wii, Playstation, XBox — these are all common terms to video game enthusiasts.  So, just how many Americans are bringing the excitement into their homes?  The Marist Poll recently asked U.S. residents if they personally own a home video game console, and here’s what the survey found out.

— 43% of Americans own a home video game console.  57% do not.

— A majority of employed residents — 53% — say they have bought a gaming console.

— Younger Americans are more likely to have a console in their homes.  Those under age 45 outnumber their elders 68% to 26%, respectively.
