The Marist Poll’s America Now: National Outlook Index (NOI) stands at a lukewarm 6.5 out of a maximum top score of 10, nearly identical to the September index. Americans’ outlook toward their health and community life continue to strengthen the NOI while their perspective on finances and society and government continue to weaken it.
