Biden’s Job Approval Rating at 38%

President Joe Biden’s job approval rating may be rebounding. After hitting its lowest point in July (36%), Biden’s rating now stands at 38% among Americans. 57% currently disapprove of how he is doing his job. By nearly three to one, Americans are more likely to strongly disapprove of how Biden is performing in office than strongly approve.

Biden needs to make inroads with independents. About two-thirds of independents (65%) disapprove of his job performance. A notable 17% of Democrats share this view.
