Uh oh, Iowa!
Monday night’s Iowa caucuses left journalists, pundits, and pollsters dumbfounded. What went wrong? What impact will this have on the future of the Iowa caucuses? Patrick Murray, Director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, joins the discussion. Murray also addresses the decision to pull the Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom poll hours before the so-called gold standard poll of Iowa was set to be released. Talk about chaos in Iowa!
And, be sure to check out Murray’s podcast, Guardians of the Republic.
Plus, we’re moving on to New Hampshire – literally. The Marist Poll team is making its quadrennial trip to New Hampshire for the primary. With us will be more than two dozen Marist College students, including Megan Landgraf, Marist ’20, who joins us to discuss her expectations of the trip.
And, don’t forget to check out our series of free, short online courses. It’s called The Marist Poll Academy.
About Poll Hub
Poll Hub goes behind the science to explain how polling works, what polls really show, and what the numbers really mean.
