New York City Race for Mayor

Michael Bloomberg outdistances his Democratic opponent former Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer by 27 points. This is an increase of 12 points in the mayor’s lead since a similar poll conducted two weeks ago. The mayor receives the support of 59% of city voters likely to vote in November compared with 32% for Ferrer. One percent of likely voters plan to support Conservative Party candidate Thomas Ognibene, and 8% are undecided.
