If you’ve moved beyond snail mail, you’re not alone.  More than three-quarters of Americans have an email address.  Have we piqued your curiosity?  Here’s what else The Marist Poll found out.

— 77% of U.S. residents have an email address.  23% do not.

— Most employed residents — 87% — report they personally have an email address.

— More, younger Americans — 90% — have their own email accounts compared with their older counterparts — 69%.

— Income is a determining factor.  95% of residents earning an annual salary of $50,000 or more have an email address.  66% of those earning less say the same.
