6/12: Ranting, Raving, and Reflecting Online?

How many Americans have branched out into the blogosphere? Very few, according to a recent Marist Poll. Here are a couple of the highlights.
– Just 7% of U.S. residents have a blog or online journal. 93% do not.
– Americans under 45 years old are more than 4 times more likely than residents 45 or older to have a blog.

It isn’t necessary for many people to have blogs in order for the population to have places for dialogue. There was a time when writing to a newspaper was the way to express an opinion, blogging has a similar function but requires less time and effort.
